Our Story

Crystal River Psychology started in a small studio with a simple goal: teach practical psychology without noise. What began as weekend workshops matured into a comprehensive learning platform focused on clarity, rigor, and care.

We partner with clinicians, researchers, and educators to translate peer‑reviewed evidence into accessible formats. We keep content minimal, but never simplistic—every module is designed to be digestible and actionable.

Today, our learners span 40+ countries. We remain independent and community-funded, which means our incentives stay aligned with you.

Mission

  • Evidence over hype: prioritize peer‑reviewed research and transparent uncertainty.
  • Accessibility: captions, transcripts, keyboard‑first navigation, and low‑bandwidth options.
  • Minimal design: keep cognitive load low so learning can stay high.
  • Practicality: turn theory into tools you can use within days, not months.
  • Ethics: protect learner data, avoid manipulative design, and be accountable.
